We are continually on the lookout for exceptional singers to join our choir.

If you have a passion for singing and believe that a cappella might be the perfect fit for you, we encourage you to reach out to us. Upon contacting us, we'll arrange a rehearsal taster session for you to experience firsthand what it's like to be a part of our choir.

Our rehearsals kick off promptly at 7:30 pm, Thursday evenings (Seale & Sands Club Ltd, GU10 1LL) with a 15-minute warm-up session, beginning with a light physical shake-out. As we gather in a circle, we engage in a variety of vocal exercises aimed at refining our tuning, dynamics, concentration, vowel sounds, and rhythmic precision. Emphasizing the importance of achieving harmonious vocal blend, we dedicate special attention to blending our voices seamlessly together.

During the main session, we delve into our repertoire, which includes popular songs such as 'My Girl', 'Steppin' Out', and 'Under The Boardwalk.' Under the expert guidance of our Chorus Director, Sarit Aloni, we meticulously dissect each piece, breaking them down into individual parts to ensure overall balance and cohesion. For instance, Sarit may focus on refining synchronization and pitch by having specific vocal sections, like the Lead and Bass, sing together. Witnessing the remarkable improvement that comes from deconstructing and reconstructing each chord is truly inspiring.

Moreover, we place a strong emphasis on the delivery of our lines, ensuring that the intended emotion and expression are effectively conveyed throughout the song. Through dedicated practice and collaboration, we strive to create memorable musical experiences that resonate deeply with our audience.
